Ideal Humidity

Experts say the recommended humidity level indoors is 40% to 50%.  Summer can bring high humidity that can make you uncomfortable and
can cause warped wood, dripping water pipes and growth of mold and spores. Winter is the opposite, with everything shriveled and cracked in
a too-dry house. Fortunately, you don't have to live with high or low  humidity.

Many people control humidity through the use of central air conditioning. But sometimes your house has reached a comfortable indoor temperature, so your system isn't actively cooling. Unfortunately, high humidity levels continue to make you feel sticky.

There is a solution. IdealHumidity™ is a Carrier exclusive-and it provides both humidity and temperature control independent of heating or
cooling demand. While all air conditioning systems dehumidify during the cooling operation, the IdealHumidity system is designed to control humidity even when cooling isn't needed. When moisture in the air is too high, the Thermidistat™ Control can turn the system on at a very low fan speed to adjust humidity.
